Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any questions you may have. It’s also a chance for you to see if we’re a good fit.
How long is each session??
Most sessions are about 50 minutes.
How often should I come to therapy?
This depends on your goals and needs. Many clients start with weekly sessions, then adjust frequency over time as progress is made.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! I accept United Healthcare, Quest Behavioral Health, Magellan, Blue Cross Blue Shield, TriCare, Optum, Carelon Behavioral Health, Aetna, Oscar, Oxford, Inland Empire Health Plan, Cigna, and Anthem.
What therapy modalities do you use?

My work draws from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). All modalities are delivered through a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive lens.
